Growing up in rural Iowa, my father was killed in a car accident at the age of 32, leaving my mother alone to raise two children with one on the way. I learned early in life the importance of planning and making sure family is taken care of. Most of my youth and early adult years were consumed with playing basketball on a highly competitive level. My passion for people and competitive nature led me into the financial services field, where I have been for eleven years, nine years with Northwestern Mutual. Along with my wife Nicole, and son, Reece, we have made Lakeville our home. As a family, we take an active role in a variety of sports and community events.
